Organize, administrate, optimize Maintenance Management and Production Maintenance activities, and oversee Project Management. Manage and oversee Preventive Maintenance, Corrective, and Urgent Maintenance workflow and activities in the Blue Mountain CMMS. Reduce the cost of maintenance and optimize department maintenance execution as well as management of outside contractors. Direct and oversee the Production Maintenance teams daily and project activities to ensure efficiency and productivity of the Production Maintenance team.\nThis is a working Supervisor position and is expected to contribute to the maintenance activities in the production area at least 70% of the time and perform administrative tasks in the office 30% of the time.\nPrimary Duties\nLead maintenance technicians and oversee daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.\nConduct advanced maintenance and troubleshooting on complex systems to ensure optimal performance.\nImplement and ensure execution of the maintenance operational plan and strategy.\nEnsure compliance with safety and quality standards in all maintenance activities.\nContribute to budget forecast and analysis in the own perimeter.\nContribute to specific projects including new product implementation and new machine installations in the maintenance area.\nCoordinate maintenance activities and effectively manage resources to optimize performance.\nMonitor team performance and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.\nProvide training and support to team members, fostering skill development and a collaborative work environment.\nLocal Primary Duties\nThis position has supervisory responsibility for decisions that directly impact the Production Maintenance Team as well as site manufacturing activities and product quality.\nLead the assigned Production Maintenance shift to cost effectively produce a quality product that meets all regulatory and customer needs.\nSupport maintenance and production areas by demonstrating leadership behaviors: a self-starter who is organized, detailed, conscientious, and ambitious.\nA team player with a positive attitude, approaching projects and tasks with a sense of ownership and a focus on root cause analysis and sustainable failure prevention.\nReview preventative and corrective maintenance activities with a focus on constant improvement of existing procedures and processes and ensure all required documentation and records are maintained in accordance with site procedures and cGMP.\nPerform periodic PM execution verification checks for quality of service.\nLead troubleshooting efforts to solve and address complex problems; drive root cause analysis and continuous equipment, system, and infrastructure improvement toward implementation of a sustainable reliability-based maintenance program.\nPlan, initiate, and track progress of work assignments utilizing CMMS to meet manufacturing schedules and needs; effectively communicate status across shifts, throughout Production, and to site management.\nProvide training, mentoring, and drive professional development.\nPerform departmental audits.\nFollow all site Safety Policies and OSHA policies including requirements related to personal protective equipment as needed to perform routine and non-routine duties.\nAssist in special assignments with outside technicians or departments such as training or personnel.\nPerform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Mechatronics or related field and 4+ years of experience, working with highly automated electrical and mechanicals systems, including demonstrated ability to lead others.\nOr in lieu of degree, 8+ years of experience working with highly automated electrical and mechanical systems, including demonstrated ability to lead others. \nPreferred\nPreferred 8 years of experience working with production equipment and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nConsistently upholds and reflects the core ethical principles and values that bioMérieux promotes.\nActively and attentively listens to others, ensuring a clear understanding of messages, needs, and concerns.\nWritten communications, including the ability to communicate technical data in written form.\nCommunicates instructions clearly and effectively.\nDriving continuous improvement by evaluating processes and implementing necessary changes.\nMakes timely decisions by quickly choosing effective solutions in high-pressure situations for optimal outcomes.\nSkilled in MS Office tools including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel - Advanced; manages complex tasks and integrates multiple tools independently.\nWorking Conditions & Physical Requirements\nAbility to remain in a stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods.\nAbility to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.\nAbility to wear PPE correctly most of the day.\nAbility to operate heavy machinery.\nAbility to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.\nDomestic travel required: 5%.\nInternational travel required: 0%.\nTotal travel: 5%.\nThe estimated salary range for this role is between $38.00-$60.60. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living.
