You will closely work together with the external innovation, legal team, IP team, manufacturing, medical affairs and commercial team etc. to support BioNTech's licensing, M&A, co-development or research collaboration activities, as well as to coordinate cross functional teams, oversee alliance governance and ensure smooth collaboration and business partnerships deliver maximum value for all parties.\nYour contribution\nManage strategic partnerships, collaborations, and licensing agreements that drive company’s growth\nBuild strong, trust-based relationships with partners and internal stakeholders\nAct as a cultural bridge between organizations to foster collaboration and mutual value creation\nContribute to Business Development strategy and partnering activities with companies, institutes in Asia and beyond in support of the company’s global vision\nConduct due diligence, market analysis, and create, negotiate, and execute term sheets and agreements with global pharma partners, biotech companies and academics for licensing, R&D collaborations and acquisitions\nLiaise with internal stakeholders as part of the deal making or alliance management process including R&D, legal, IP, finance, and senior management\nProvide support to create, evaluate, and identify partnering and acquisition opportunities\nCommunicate progress on business development, business alliance activities to internal stakeholders and management\nA good match:\nMBA or PhD or comparable degree in life sciences\n\n5-8 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or healthcare, with focus on business development, alliance management or project management work\n\nExcellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills\n\nStrong contract and governance management knowledge\n\nExperience in building partnerships with global pharma partners, biotech companies and academics including drafting and negotiating of term sheets and contracts\n\nGood understanding of regulatory pathways and reimbursement schemes in some key Asian countries\n\nExperience in working in a highly cross-functional and international setup\n\nFluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken), other Asian language is a plus\n\nDriven, “sleeves rolled up” approach to work, flexible, able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment as well as the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environment\n\nYour benefits and remuneration:\nIf the position is filled in the US, the Expected Pay Range is XXX,XXX/year to XXX,XXX/year + benefits, annual bonus & equity (bonus and equity is variable and dependent on company and individual performance).
