Oversee daily operations of a production team and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. you will coordinate all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring operational efficiency and product quality. Key responsibilities include managing production planning and execution, leading and developing the manufacturing team, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with QA, and other departments to meet strategic and operational goals.\nYour contribution:\nDevelop and implement production schedules and plans.\nOversee daily manufacturing operations meet production targets\nMonitor workflow, assembly processes, and ensure cost-effective delivery of quality products. \nManage budgeting and cost control within the manufacturing department.\nOversee hiring, resource allocation, and performance metrics for the manufacturing department.\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.\nImplement and ensure adherence to safety and GMP quality standards for vaccine manufacturing within the manufacturing areas. Ensure site readiness for GMP audits and/or inspections\nProvide leadership, guidance, to the manufacturing team.\nEnsure appropriate training plans are implemented and keep up to date.\nFacilitate training and development programs for manufacturing personnel.\nConduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.\nCoordinate with Supply Chain Management for raw material procurement and inventory control.\nWork closely with Quality Assurance (QA), Engineering, to ensure seamless operations and maintenance of product standards\nEnsure a safe working environment by establishing and reinforcing all safety procedures and protocols. \nA good match:\nMasters or Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Chemistry and or Pharmacy.\nMinimum of 5+ years of experience in production management.\nProven leadership and team management skills.\nStrong understanding of production processes and quality control.\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\nAbility to manage budgets and optimize resource utilization.\nComprehensive knowledge of GMP standards and the ability to implement and maintain these practices in the manufacturing process.\nGood understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines from agencies e.g. FDA, EMA, WHO regulatory bodies.\nExperience with regulatory audits and inspections\nFlexibility to adapt to new technologies and methods\nEthical judgement and integrity\nWhat we do with the BioNTainers:\nWe want to improve healthcare by making our innovations accessible worldwide.
