The products are instrument and consumables to Analytical Testing customers within an assigned territory including strategic accounts. This role may partner with account managers, sales & marketing management, and field service to create a proactive account team that develops, expands or maximizes sales of the Biotage businesses and markets. This role will also complete extensive prospecting, lead generation, and lead follow up.\nTasks and Responsibilities:\nAchieve defined monthly, quarterly and annual targets for revenue in a defined geography and specific product volumes.\nProactively contact current and new customers related to Analytical Testing to promote, sell and/or increase consumable revenue.\nFully utilizes the “ SalesForce.com ” account and opportunity management platform ensuring all activities (planned and executed) are captured within this system.\nMaintains up-to-date account data related to account status, user/contact, and system/consumable purchasing history for all accounts and prospective accounts in assigned territory.\nSupport field team members with SFDC opportunity entry, reporting and maintenance.\nManage and own inside sales lead queues and lead follow up for assigned regions.\nTimely follow up and qualification of leads and document results in SalesForce.\nSupports customers with demo’s (virtual or live), literature and sample requests as well as product quotations.
