Biotage offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance as well as a 401k program w/ company match and more!\nRole Description\nThe Senior Financial Analyst will report to the CFO and be responsible for supporting the Americas and APAC management teams over multiple sites with a focus on commissions and revenue reporting. Oversee and manage the financial analysis process. Competent in Power BI, Advanced Excel, Power Query, DAX and Microsoft D365.\nTasks and Responsibilities:\nCreate and maintain commission plans for the Americas and APAC commercial teams based on parameters provided.\nManage the revenue reporting and revenue forecasting processes to ensure timely delivery of information.\nOversee deferred revenue and gross margin tracking reporting.\nTrack sales discounts and manage annual discount review process.\nBuild Power BI reports based on the needs of management.\nParticipate in global projects related to Business Intelligence.\nSupport Microsoft D-365 needs.\nCommunicate with and train users of Excel and Power BI reporting\nRole Specific Skills:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nHighly organized and detail oriented.\nSupervisory and management skills.\nAdvanced proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables and the ability to read, troubleshoot, modify, and build complex formulas and models\nStrong Power Query skills, particularly connecting to external data sources, transforming and combining data, and building refreshable models based on those connections.\nStrong Power BI skills, with an emphasis on data modeling, Power Query, and data transformation rather than primarily visualization.\nAbility to use Power BI/Power Query as a data-processing platform, not just a reporting tool.\nAbility to write and modify queries is strongly preferred\nProficient with data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving.\nSkilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.\nStrong technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis\nAbility to explain technical concepts and results clearly to nontechnical users\nQualifications and Training:\nBachelor’s degree in finance\nAdvanced Excel skills\nProficient in Power BI, Power Query and DAX\nExperienced with Microsoft D365 ERP system.\n3 years of experience in report creation and financial/data
