To strengthen our Product Development organization in Uppsala, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who is passionate about leading complex instrument development projects from concept to product launch.\nThis is an opportunity for a senior project leader who enjoys working close to technology, collaborating with highly skilled cross-functional teams, and driving projects that combine hardware, software, mechanics and systems engineering.\nYour role\nAs a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional product development projects within our instrument portfolio. You will work closely with R&D, Product Management, Quality, Operations and other key stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.\nYou will:\nLead complex instrument development projects throughout the entire product development lifecycle.\n\nCoordinate multidisciplinary teams covering hardware, software, test and verification, mechanics, electronics and systems engineering.\n\nDrive project planning, execution, risk management and resource coordination.\n\nEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.\n\nFacilitate communication and decision-making across functions and with senior management.\n\nContribute to continuously improving project management practices and development processes.\n\nWe are looking for someone who has\nAt least 10 years of experience leading complex product development projects.\n\nProven experience managing instrument development projects within Life Science, MedTech or other regulated technology industries.\n\nA solid technical understanding of both hardware and software development.\n\nExperience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.\n\nStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nA structured and pragmatic approach with the ability to create engagement and momentum.\n\nA university degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.\n\nFormal Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is an advantage.\n\nExcellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.\n\nExperience working in regulated environments such as ISO 13485 or similar quality systems is highly valued.\nWhy Biotage?\nAt Biotage, you'll become part of a global Life Science company where innovation, collaboration and quality are at the heart of everything we do.
