He/She is responsible for building and operating the cloud and hybrid infrastructure that supports BIOTRONIK's medical device software, ensuring secure, reliable, and auditable delivery of software to production.\nYour Responsibilities\nDesign, write, and maintain Terraform to provision and manage Azure infrastructure as code, following infrastructure-as-code best practices.\nManage Kubernetes clusters (AKS), Helm chart deployments, ArgoCD GitOps workflows, and associated networking components.\nBuild and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for automated application delivery, container image promotion, and infrastructure deployment, including automated security and quality gates.\nDeploy, operate, and support applications across multi-stage environments, from development through production, using structured release and promotion strategies.\nManage secrets, identity, and access using cloud-native security practices, including Key Vault and role-based access control.\nMaintain observability platforms and develop monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to support proactive incident detection.\nBridge hybrid on-premises and Azure environments through secure networking and tunnel-based connectivity solutions.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation, support incident response, and drive post-incident improvements to infrastructure and pipelines.\n\nMaintain backup and disaster recovery procedures and support cloud cost and capacity management.\n\nWork closely with regulatory affairs and compliance teams to ensure infrastructure and deployment processes adhere to industry standards and regulations.\nCollaborate with software engineers and test engineers to embed infrastructure and pipeline requirements early in the development lifecycle.\n\nY our Profile\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.\nAt least 5-7 years of relevant work experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering.\nAt least 3 years of relevant work experience in the medical device industry, or another regulated/audit-heavy industry (e.g. healthcare, FinTech, aerospace), would be an added advantage.\nProven experience writing and maintaining Terraform for Azure infrastructure.\nExperience operating Kubernetes (AKS preferred) in production, including Helm and GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD.\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.\nFamiliarity with cloud-native secrets, identity, and access management (e.g. Key Vault, Managed Identities, RBAC).\nExperience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, or ELK/EFK.\nExperience with hybrid on-premises to cloud networking (e.g. VPN, ExpressRoute).\nStrong understanding of security principles and best practices for cloud environments.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. \nWhat we offer\nbeing encouraged to think and act entrepreneurially\nworking in global teams and projects\ndeveloping yourself professionally\nAre you interested?
