The work of our committed, highly specialized, exceptionally skilled employees results in crucial advancements in the world of cardiology and changes the lives of patients every day.\nThe Technician II (Equipment Engineering) is responsible, as member of the Operations Engineering team, to provide technical support for production operations in meeting output and quality. This includes transfer, documentation and repair. Furthermore, the Technician II will support the Equipment Engineer in required installation and training activities to ensure the processes will be correctly operated. Also, his/her expertise will be required to optimize the infrastructure of the facility.\nYour Responsibilities\nProvide first level troubleshooting and resolve production stoppages due to equipment issues.\nMinimise equipment downtime and ensure production meets target output and yield.\nDocument and report all production line stoppages due to equipment or technical issues. \nMonitor machine output and ensure the required standards are met. \nReplenish production auxiliary materials and tools in the respective workstations. \nPerform process control check where necessary. \nParticipate in and execute preventive maintenance and calibration activities for production and measuring equipment. \nEnsure workstations are in excellent housekeeping conditions. \nTrain and educate operators.\nOther duties as assigned. \nAble to perform shift work as and when necessary.\nAble to travel as necessary.\nTECHNICAL COMPETENCY\nLean Manufacturing:\n5S,7-Mudas and Kaizen methodologies.\nPoka Yoke, Single-minute exchange of die (SMED) for equipment tooling/fixture.\nContinuous Improvement Project Management:\nJDI(Just-Do-It) as project initiative to address equipment issue/improvement.\nEquipment Skills:\nBasic understanding and interpretation of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings.\nBasic understanding of Sensors, Relay, Solenoids PLC, AC/DC power supply and concepts.\nYour Profile\nDiploma/Higher NITEC in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic discipline.\nDiploma: Fresh Graduate.\nHigher NITEC or equivalent: At least 2 years of relevant experience.\nPreferably in medical device industry.\nPrior technical experience in Electronics / Manufacturing environment will be added advantage. \nMeticulous, responsible, flexible, independent and customer oriented.\nExperience working in project environment with good problem-solving skills. \nWhat we offer\nbeing encouraged to think and act entrepreneurially\nworking in global teams and projects\ndeveloping yourself professionally\nAre you interested?
