The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and a deep understanding of how to leverage data to create business value. You will play a key role in shaping our data strategy, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of experimentation and excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport Business Development initiatives, working closely with cross-functional and international teams to ensure alignment on priorities, knowledge sharing, and scalability of solutions;\nContribute to the potential setup and future growth of a structured data science team in France;\nDesign, build, and deploy machine learning models, predictive algorithms, and recommendation systems;\nPartner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven innovation;\nDefine and drive the technical roadmap and methodological approach for data science initiatives;\nEnsure model quality, scalability, and continuous performance monitoring;\nCommunicate analytical results and complex concepts clearly and effectively to executives and non-technical stakeholders;\nEstablish best practices in experimentation, documentation, reproducibility, and deployment;\nAct as a thought leader in advancing the company’s AI and data science capabilities.\nRequirements\nDegree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field (PhD is a strong plus);\n6-8+ years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of delivering impactful ML/AI projects;\nStrong proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages, and experience with ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.);\nSolid knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, NLP and/or computer vision;\nHands-on experience with big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure);\nAbility to translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions;\nDemonstrated experience managing technical teams and leading cross-functional projects;\nFluent in English and French;\nExcellent communication and presentation skills .\nWhy Bip?\nPeople at the center of our culture\nTrust and collaboration, entrepreneurship and courage, meritocracy and development drive the growth of our people.
