As an Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in keeping the fleet moving by driving, deploying, relocating, and\npreparing scooters for riders. You will work behind the scenes to ensure every ride is safe, smooth, and on time while helping reduce\ncarbon emissions and traffic.\nResponsibilities\nExecute Fleet Deployment: Safely drive, load, and unload vehicles to deploy or retrieve scooters following mobileapp routes.\nOptimize Market Demand: Relocate scooters from low-demand areas to high-demand areas efficiently to\nmaximize rider access.\nPerform Field Maintenance: Conduct basic diagnostics, quality checks, and preparation on scooters and e-bikes\nto ensure safety.\nManage Technology Tools: Operate a smartphone and internal apps while multitasking in a fast-paced\nenvironment to hit daily goals.\nSupport Logistics Operations: Assist with warehouse tasks and fleet staging to maintain an organized\noperational flow.\nContribute to Product Growth: Participate in product testing and new feature rollouts to improve the rider\nexperience.\nMaintain Team Communication: Communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors to coordinate daily field\nactivities.\n\nPay: 18.00 CAD\nMust Haves\nAge Requirement: Must be 21+ years old.\nExperience: Minimum of two years of driving experience required\nLicenses: Must possess a valid driver's license.\nProficiency in English and comfort using smartphone applications while on the move.\nAbility to lift and transport objects up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodation).\nMust be able to work weekends and holidays\nHighly Desired\nFamiliarity with Windsor’s local streets and neighborhoods is considered a plus.\nFlexibility for varied shift work \nExperience in delivery, logistics, rideshare, or warehouse work \nCompensation: $18 per hour.\nWhy Bird Matters\nEvery time you hop on a Bird, you’re helping build a more livable city.
