Apply today.\nLocation Requirements\nMust be based in San Diego or Orange County\nCan be called into our San Diego office at managers discretion.\nPosition Summary\nWe are building an applied AI practice and looking for a small group of Junior AI Developers who are hungry to learn, build, experiment, and grow quickly.\nThis is not an internship where you spend a semester observing from the sidelines.\nYou’ll work alongside other early-career developers and receive hands-on mentorship from our AI Architect, learning how modern AI solutions are designed, built, deployed, and operated. You'll have room to experiment, make mistakes, learn from them, and steadily take on more challenging work.\nWe care much more about curiosity, technical fundamentals, initiative, and learning speed than an impressive resume or years of professional experience.\nWhat You’ll Work On\nDepending on your skills and the projects underway, you’ll have opportunities to:\nBuild software applications and services that incorporate LLMs and generative AI\nPrototype AI solutions and turn promising prototypes into working applications\nWork with APIs, structured and unstructured data, and modern AI development frameworks\nAssist with development and DevOps activities in Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)\nUse Git and GitHub as part of a collaborative software development workflow\nLearn the fundamentals of deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving AI-enabled applications\nWork closely with another junior developer so you can solve problems, learn, and progress together\nParticipate in real customer and internal projects as your capabilities grow\nWhat We're Looking For What We’re Looking For\nYou do not need to be an AI expert. We’re looking for someone who is excited by how much there is to learn.\nInternship Details\nHybrid role with a mix of on-site and remote work.\nExpected commitment is approximately 10-20 hours per week.
