lakes, lakehouses, and data warehouses using best practices.\nLead data integration strategies using ETL/ELT frameworks leveraging tools like ADF, dbt, and Spark.\nOptimize performance and cost across Snowflake and Databricks environments.\nImplement data governance, security, lineage, and compliance frameworks.\nEnable real-time and batch data processing architectures.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to align data strategy with business goals.\nMentor engineering teams and enforce architectural standards.\nTechnical Skills & Expertise\nStrong expertise in Snowflake: architecture design, Snowpipe, Streams/Tasks, performance tuning,\nand data sharing.\nAdvanced knowledge of Databricks: Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture, Spark (PySpark/Scala), and\nperformance optimization.\nExperience with Databricks features such as Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, MLflow, and Mosaic AI.\nProficiency in SQL, Python, and distributed data processing frameworks.\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and related services.\nStrong understanding of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and data warehousing\nconcepts.\nExperience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.\nArchitecture & Design Capabilities\nDesign hybrid architectures leveraging Snowflake for warehousing and Databricks for advanced\nanalytics and ML workloads.\nDefine data lakehouse strategies integrating structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.\nBuild event-driven, real-time data pipelines.\nEstablish reusable frameworks for ingestion, transformation, and consumption.\nData Governance & Security\nImplement robust data governance frameworks including cataloging, lineage, and data quality\ncontrols.\nEnsure compliance with enterprise security policies and regulatory requirements.\nDefine access control strategies using role-based and attribute-based access.\nQualifications & Experience\n10+ years of overall experience in data engineering and architecture.\nProven experience working with both Snowflake and Databricks in enterprise environments.\nStrong experience in designing large-scale data platforms and migration strategies.\nExperience in AI/ML data pipeline enablement is highly preferred.\nRelevant certifications in Snowflake, Databricks, or cloud platforms are a plus.\nSoft Skills\nStrong stakeholder
