As part of the multibillion-dollar diversified CKA Birla Group, Birlasoft with its 12,000+ professionals, is committed to continuing the Group’s 170-year heritage of building sustainable communities.\nJob Title / Position: Informatica IDMC Lead\nExperience: 8-10 years\nLocation: Bengaluru / Pune / Noida / Hyderabad / Chennai / Mumbai\nShift: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST\nKey Responsibilities\nIDMC Development and Integration\nDevelop, configure, and maintain data integration mappings, mapping tasks, taskflows, and schedules using Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI).\nBuild ETL and ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data across cloud and on-premises sources and targets.\nConfigure and support Secure Agents, runtime environments, connections, parameterization, and deployment activities under architectural guidance.\nDevelop reusable objects, templates, error-handling routines, logging, and restart mechanisms to improve solution maintainability.\nCreate and consume REST and SOAP APIs, and support file-based, database, application, and event-driven integration patterns.\nData Quality and MDM Support\nDevelop data quality rules, profiles, scorecards, standardization, cleansing, and validation logic using Cloud Data Quality (CDQ).\nImplement data matching, duplicate identification, reference data checks, and exception-handling workflows.\nSupport MDM SaaS implementations such as Customer 360, Supplier 360, or Product 360 by configuring data loads, business rules, and integrations.\nMigration and Modernization\nAssist in assessing and migrating Informatica PowerCenter or IICS assets to IDMC.\nRebuild or refactor mappings, workflows, data quality assets, and interfaces based on approved migration designs.\nTesting, Support, and Delivery\nPrepare unit test cases and test evidence; support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and performance testing.\nTroubleshoot mapping failures, connectivity issues, data quality defects, and performance bottlenecks.\nCollaboration and Documentation\nWork with solution architects, business analysts, source-system teams, database administrators, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical deliverables.\nCreate and maintain technical design documents, mapping specifications, runbooks, deployment checklists, and support documentation.\nParticipate in design reviews and recommend practical improvements to performance, reliability, and maintainability.\nRequired Skills\nInformatica and Integration\nHands-on experience with mappings, taskflows, parameter files, scheduling, monitoring, error handling, and Secure Agents.\nGood understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and integration design patterns.\nExperience with REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, CSV, and secure file-transfer mechanisms.
