# Middle-Senior DevOps Engineer

The Middle-Senior DevOps Engineer builds and operates the infrastructure, delivery pipelines and observability tooling behind Birmarket's technology platforms. Birmarket is one of the leading e-commerce marketplaces in Azerbaijan and a business vertical of the PASHA / Bir Ecosystem. This is a hands-on engineering position reporting to the DevOps & SRE Team Lead. The engineer works day to day with development teams to keep the marketplace available and releases safe, and contributes to the team's platform programme: database upgrades, search and logging migration, pipeline hardening, edge security and cloud cost optimisation. We hire at Middle or Senior level depending on experience; the expectations for each level are set out below.
