As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail who can help us maintain the quality and accuracy of the online courses available through our platform.\nAbout the Role\nAs our Course Development Quality Control Specialist, you'll be the final set of eyes on courses before they go live, making sure content, course information, and setup meet our quality standards. You'll also take ownership of our network partner courses, help troubleshoot course-related issues, maintain our course catalogue, and work across teams to keep everything accurate and up to date.\nThis role is about more than catching mistakes. We’re looking for someone who asks why, notices where processes could be better, and helps prevent problems before they happen. If you're detail-oriented, tech savvy, comfortable working with clients and partners, and enjoy improving the way things work, this role could be a great fit.\nThis is an in-person role based out of our Sherwood Park, AB office.\nIn this role, you will be expected to:\nReview and test online courses before launch to ensure they meet our quality, accuracy, and functionality standards\nManage course setup, including descriptions, keywords, subscriptions, landing pages, pricing coordination, and other catalogue details\nTake ownership of network partner courses from initial quality review through setup, launch, and ongoing correspondence\nReview new course submissions against BIS quality standards and clearly communicate required changes to partners and content owners\nMaintain the accuracy of course development tracking sheets, records, and supporting documentation\nOwn the ongoing maintenance of our course catalogue, including scheduled reviews, course updates, and identifying content that needs to be updated or retired\nTroubleshoot course-related issues and act as an escalation point for our Customer Experience team\nWork with Course Development, Customer Experience, Marketing, Ecommerce, and Accounting to keep course information accurate and launches moving forward\nHelp maintain and improve the quality controls within our AI-assisted course development process\nIdentify opportunities to simplify, improve, or automate repetitive quality-control processes\nMaintain clear policies, procedures, and documentation for course development and quality-control workflows\nYou might be the right fit if you:\nHave exceptional attention to detail and a knack for spotting inconsistencies others might miss\nCan work thoroughly without losing sight of efficiency or spending time on details that don't meaningfully affect quality\nTake ownership of your work and follow issues through to resolution rather than simply passing them along\nAre naturally curious and want to understand how systems and processes work\nAre comfortable working independently, navigating ambiguity, and figuring out what needs to happen next\nEnjoy troubleshooting and digging into problems to understand what went wrong\nLook for ways to improve processes instead of simply following them because “that's how we've always done it”\nCommunicate clearly and professionally, including when you need to deliver difficult feedback to a client or partner\nEnjoy collaborating across teams and can keep multiple people and moving pieces organized\nAre tech savvy, quick to learn new systems, and comfortable experimenting with AI tools\nQualifications we are looking for:\nHands-on experience in a detail-focused role where accuracy, organization, and follow-through were important to your success\nCustomer-facing experience and confidence communicating directly with clients, partners, or other stakeholders\nStrong computer skills and the ability to learn new software and systems quickly\nStrong organizational skills with experience managing detailed information, records, or documentation\nComfort working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel\nPractical experience using AI tools and an interest in finding ways they can improve workflows and quality\nBonus points if you have:\nExperience with learning management systems, online learning, or course development\nA background in data management, records management, or maintaining large amounts of detailed information\nExperience with technical writing, SOPs, policies, or process documentation\nExperience proofreading, editing, or reviewing content for accuracy and consistency\nKnowledge of instructional design or adult learning principles\nExperience in health and
