This role is responsible for equipment validation, installation, and continuous improvement initiatives to support safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations.\nThis position will be required to work out of the Schaumburg, IL office.\nSalary range: $81K to $95K, commensurate with experience\nBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, HRA and FSA, short and long-term disability, life insurance, pet insurance, PTO, 401(k) profit-sharing with match, potential year-end bonuses.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nThe job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:\nManaging production equipment, including calibration status, and ensuring availability.\nTroubleshooting equipment, leading root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.\nIdentifying opportunities for automation.\nImplementing robotics solutions.\nIdentifying and driving measurable improvements.\nSupporting production planning and capacity optimization.\nAssisting with new equipment planning and selection.\nValidating equipment (IQ, OQ, PQ) and maintaining the validation status.\nEnsuring equipment and processes comply with GMP, ISO 13485, and internal quality standards.\nLeading improvement initiatives impacting safety, quality, delivery, and cost.\nAnalyzing production metrics and recommending operational improvements.\nServing as technical lead for production projects.\nProviding guidance and mentorship to technicians.\nActing as back-up support for Packaging Supervisors and Managers.\nEnsuring safety compliance and participating in Bisco’s Safety Committee.\nPerforming other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONSRequired\nBachelor’s degree in engineering.\n5 years of experience in manufacturing environment with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years of experience with a Master’s degree.\nKnowledge of packaging operations, Good Manufacturing Practice, ISO 13485, and quality systems.\nUnderstanding of continuous improvement and project management.\nCompetent computer skills in Windows, MS Office, email, and internet.\nAbility to stand and walk the production floor, lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, bend, reach, and work around moving machinery.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and collaboration skills.\nPreferredFamiliarity with automation and robotics systems.\nKorean language proficiency.\nWHY BISCO, INC.?Bisco, Inc. stands out because of our culture and core values:\nRespectful - Professional.
