As a senior engineer, you'll also help set technical direction, improve engineering standards, and mentor other engineers.\nWhat you'll work on:\nArchitect multiplayer server orchestration, allocation, scheduling, and lifecycle systems\nManage infrastructure across regions, including autoscaling, placement, health checks, and failure recovery\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines, rollout and rollback processes, and release tooling\nPlan capacity and manage provisioning across cloud and bare-metal environments\nWrite and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code for bare-metal compute, networking and storage\nRun and tune Kubernetes clusters, container runtimes, and host-level configuration\nBuild monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards for infrastructure health, capacity, allocation latency, and infrastructure failures\nLead technical design for major platform initiatives\nOwn production reliability, incident response, and root-cause improvements\nMentor engineers and raise standards through design reviews, infrastructure code reviews, and operational best practices\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for:\nExtensive professional experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, or platform engineering\nProfessional experience running multiplayer or other real-time online services in production\nStrong understanding of dedicated game servers and multiplayer networking\nDeep knowledge of Linux, networking (TCP/UDP, load balancing, DNS, firewalls), and Docker\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code such as Terraform, Ansible, and Packer\nExperience designing highly available systems, asynchronous workflows, and production APIs\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Argo CD, Jenkins) \nStrong understanding of distributed systems, including retries, consistency, concurrency, and failure recovery\nExperience with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, or Datadog\nStrong scripting or programming ability in at least one language (e.g. Go, Python, Bash)\nAbility to independently take ambiguous infrastructure problems from architecture through production\nAbility to make and communicate technical tradeoffs around reliability, scalability, latency, and complexity\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience building multiplayer orchestration, scheduling, or allocation systems\nStrong Kubernetes or Agones experience\nExperience with control-plane architectures and reconciliation systems\nExperience operating workloads across cloud and bare-metal infrastructure\nExperience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Salt, Chef)\nExperience with latency-aware placement, capacity forecasting, or autoscaling\nExperience operating
