Working closely with our Corporate Finance, Audit, Tax and Business Advisory teams, you will help clients secure the right funding solutions to support acquisitions, refinancing, growth investment, working capital requirements and business transformation.\nAs a senior leader within our Advisory practice, you will play a key role in developing market presence, building strategic relationships across the lending community, generating new business opportunities and delivering outstanding outcomes for clients. This role provides the platform to shape a service line, influence firm strategy and make a significant impact on the future growth of our business.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nLeading and developing our Debt Advisory proposition.\nBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with banks, alternative lenders, private credit funds and other funding providers.\nAdvising clients on debt raising, refinancing, acquisition finance, asset-based lending, structured finance and wider funding solutions.\nIdentifying and converting new business opportunities through existing networks and market relationships.\nWorking closely with Partners and colleagues across Corporate Finance, Audit, Tax and Business Advisory to deliver joined-up client solutions.\nLeading client pitches, funding negotiations and transaction execution.\nManaging and developing junior team members, providing coaching, guidance and technical expertise.\nContributing to the ongoing growth and strategic development of the Advisory practice.\nRepresenting Bishop Fleming within the market through networking, events and thought leadership activity.\nWhat we are looking for\nTo be successful in this role, you'll bring:\nSignificant experience within Debt Advisory, Corporate Banking, Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance or a related funding advisory environment.\nStrong relationships across the UK lending market, particularly within the South West and Midlands.\nExcellent commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.\nThe ability to build credibility with owner-managed businesses, private equity-backed companies and larger corporate clients.\nExperience of leading client relationships and high quality deal execution.\nA genuine desire to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic and ambitious firm.\nWhy join us\nWe are an award-winning certified Great Place to Work® provider of Audit, Accountancy, Tax and Advisory services in the South West and West Midlands, with a turnover of £50m.
