You could also be an experienced Corporate Tax Manager who has had exposure to advisory and transaction work and would now like to specialise further.\nThis is an opportunity to build a genuine specialism in transactions tax, working across the full transaction lifecycle, from initial planning and structuring through to completion and post-deal implementation. You'll work with owner-managed businesses, corporate groups, management teams, investors and shareholders on a broad range of transactions, gaining exposure to diverse commercial challenges and deal structures.\nYou'll work alongside experienced Transactions Tax professionals and closely with colleagues across Transaction Services, Corporate Finance and our wider tax practice.\nNo two transactions are the same but depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:\nPreparing high-quality technical advice for clients on acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, demergers and succession planning matters.\nSupporting tax due diligence assignments and identifying key tax risks, opportunities and value drivers.\nAdvising on transaction structuring, pre-sale planning and post-transaction implementation.\nSupporting complex business reorganisations, group reconstructions and shareholder transactions.\nWorking closely with clients, lawyers, corporate finance advisers and other stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle.\nProject managing the delivery of complex advisory assignments.\nEnsuring all tax technical advice is commercially led.\nCollaborating with colleagues across Tax, Transaction Services and Corporate Finance to deliver integrated client solutions.\nCoaching and developing junior members of the team and reviewing their work.\nSupporting the continued growth and development of Bishop Fleming's Transactions Tax proposition.\nYou'll increasingly take ownership of projects, managing the day-to-day delivery of assignments and acting as a key contact for clients, lawyers, corporate finance advisers and other stakeholders.\nWhat we are looking for\nTo be successful in this role, you'll bring:\nACA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.\nExperience of transactions tax, corporate tax advisory, restructuring or other relevant project-based tax work.\nExcellent analytical skills and the ability to get to grips quickly with complex issues.\nStrong written skills and the ability to turn technical analysis into clear, concise and commercially useful advice.\nConfidence communicating with clients and other professional advisers.\nGood project management skills and the ability to manage several assignments and competing deadlines.\nAbility to identify when specialist input is needed and coordinate effectively with other tax and advisory teams.\nCollaborative approach, including an interest in coaching and developing more junior members of the team.\nWhy join us?\nWe are an award-winning certified Great Place to Work® provider of Audit, Accountancy, Tax and Advisory services in the South West and West Midlands, with a turnover of £50m plus.
