With nearly 20 years of industry contributions-including 16 open-source tools and 50 security advisories published in the past five years-we're committed to making the digital world safer. \nGiven our exceptional growth, we are expanding and hiring an AR Specialist to join us on this exciting journey. \nWho You Are and What You’llDo \nYou are a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who can navigate complex, non-standard contracts and billing scenarios. You ensure contract terms and system records are accurate and complete, partnering with cross-functional teams to support proper invoicing and revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606. You exercise sound judgment and adapt to unique client requirements across the bookings-to-cash cycle. Your responsibilities will include: \nReview Closed Won opportunities, contracts, SOWs, and Salesforce records for accuracy and completeness. \nValidate contract terms, billing schedules, and non-standard transactions in collaboration with Sales, Deal Desk, Delivery, and Infrastructure. \nEnsure accurate project setup, invoicing, and revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606. \nManage billing milestones, client invoicing, purchase orders, payment reconciliation, and collections. \nMaintain client financial records, payment terms, billing contacts, and sales tax information in Salesforce. \nAudit projects during Pending Finance Review to ensure accurate invoicing and revenue recognition. \nProcess employee expense reports and coordinate monthly reimbursements and receivables with Payroll. \nManage sales tax rates, audit tax allocation accuracy, and coordinate potential tax obligations with external advisors. \nResolve billing discrepancies and non-standard contract scenarios, exercising independent judgment to ensure accuracy throughout the bookings-to-cash cycle. \nYour Education and Experience \nThe following is a list of skills and traits that describe you. If you have most of these, we’d like to speak to you: \nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. \nStrong interest in finance and accounting, with an aptitude for working with numbers. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. \nExperience reviewing contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, purchase orders, and billing terms is preferred but not required. \nExperience with financial systems and business tools such as Salesforce, Professional Services Automation (PSA) platforms, Certinia, or similar systems. \nDetail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to accuracy. \nSelf-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities. \nFlexible and adaptable when priorities or processes change. \nTrustworthy and committed to maintaining confidentiality and integrity. \nWilling to learn, receive feedback, and take directions. \nPatient and professional when handling challenging situations. \nProactive in anticipating potential problems and identifying solutions. \nAn effective written and verbal communicator who collaborates well across teams. \nWhy Bishop Fox \nAt Bishop Fox, we're driven by a simple mission: deliver exceptional quality to our clients, foster a vibrant and fulfilling environment for our team, and champion excellence within our industry.
