You will help enable seamless data flow while ensuring reliability and performance. You will have a stake in every part of the architecture. From the bytes on a building's wiring to the services in our cloud, no part of the system is off-limits. This goes beyond maintenance - you'll help decide how it grows as we take it into new markets.Key Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services in C++ and Rust.\nTake technical ownership of projects and help decide where the architecture goes next.\nDefine and implement data strategy and synchronization between systems.\nOptimize system performance and debug complex issues (memory, concurrency, I/O).\nDesign and develop APIs for local and cloud-based services.\nSet the bar for clean, well-tested code, and keep raising it.\nDevelop and deploy robust software for cloud and local environments.\nEvaluate, integrate, deploy, and optimize AI tools and services to support product innovation and business needs.\nMentor others and help shape how we work as the team grows.\nTo succeed in this role, you'll have\nSeveral years building backend or systems software, preferably in agile environments.\nStrong Rust and/or modern C++ skills. We also welcome people who want to dig deeper into Rust.\nA team player's instinct for fast-moving, cross-disciplinary work.\nSound design judgment, and clean, well-tested code that others are glad to inherit.\nA knack for debugging, and a pragmatic approach to large, existing codebases.\nSolid understanding of distributed systems, network protocols, and asynchronous runtimes.\nExperience with database engines (MariaDB, Postgres, NoSQL).\nFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure and on-premise/local server environments.\nExperience designing and consuming APIs (REST, gRPC, or similar).\nHands-on AI experience: integrating, deploying, or building AI-powered systems.\nWhy us?\nAt Bisly, we value talent, innovation, and collaboration.
