This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing, managing payroll tax filings and reporting, and serving as the primary subject matter expert for ADP. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, hands-on leader who brings deep technical payroll knowledge and thrives in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.\nWhat you will be responsible for\nManage and oversee the full-cycle payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment for all employees across multiple pay groups and locations.\nServe as the primary ADP system administrator and subject matter expert, maintaining system configuration, earning and deduction codes, and integrations.\nEnsure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and tax requirements.\nOversee payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution.\nReview and audit payroll data, timekeeping records, and employee changes to ensure accuracy prior to each payroll run.\nPartner with HR, Finance, and Accounting on new hires, terminations, compensation changes, benefit deductions, and bonus payments.\nPrepare payroll journal entries, reconciliations, and reports to support month-end close, audits, and management reporting.\nDevelop, document, and continuously improve payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls.\nResolve complex payroll issues and employee inquiries promptly, accurately, and confidentially.\nSupport internal and external audits and ensure payroll records are maintained in accordance with retention requirements.\nLead, train, and mentor payroll team members as the function scales.\nHow you will stand out\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.\n8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including full-cycle payroll processing and payroll tax compliance.\n3+ years of hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems.\nStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including multi-state payroll and tax requirements.\nProven experience with payroll reconciliations, general ledger entries, and audit support.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions.\nHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail, and discretion in handling confidential information.\nStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.\nCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is preferred.\nAbility to speak Mandarin is preferred\nWhat you will experience working with us\nA culture that values authenticity and diverse perspectives.\nAn inclusive, respectful environment with open workspaces and an energetic, start-up spirit.\nA fast-growing company with opportunities to network with industry pioneers and enthusiasts.\nThe ability to contribute directly and make an impact on the future of the digital asset and AI computing industry.\nInvolvement in new projects and in developing processes/systems.\nPersonal accountability, autonomy, rapid growth, and learning opportunities.\nAttractive benefits and development such as training and mentoring.\nBitdeer is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in accordance with country, state, and local laws.
