Agentic workloads are changing what traffic looks like, and serving architectures are being redesigned around disaggregation, tiered caching and large MoE models. Many of these ideas look strong on paper; far fewer hold up on a real fleet.\n\nThis role is both research-heavy and implementation-heavy. You will follow the frontier of inference systems research, decide what matters for our workloads, and build it into our serving stack as measured, system-level improvements, designing new approaches where existing ones fall short. We expect results strong enough to ship and to publish.\n\nYour work is driven by the Lab's research agenda, in close collaboration with the AI Cloud platform team who own the production serving stack. Depending on background, the role can be filled as a Research Scientist or a Research Engineer; both are expected to do research and to write the code that ships it.\nThe team is based in Singapore and the US, is international, and works in English.\n\nHow you will stand out:\nMaster's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field;
