For more information, visit https://www.bitdefender.com\nAbout the Role & Team / Project:\nAs a QA Automation Engineer, you will join theGravityZone team, part of the Business Solutions Group department.\nThe team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation capabilities, workflows, and integrations that improve the efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of GravityZone services.\nThis position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development and test automation, while helping deliver reliable, high-quality features that directly impact our product evolution.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test cases for GravityZone platform features, APIs, and integrations.\nContribute to the development and enhancement of GravityZone workflows, automations, and platform components using Java.\nExecute automated and manual test activities to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.\nCreate and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and testing documentation.\nIdentify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.\nSupport integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.\nCollaborate with engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test coverage.\nAssist in troubleshooting issues discovered during testing and validation activities.\nContribute to technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.\nContinuously improve test coverage, automation practices, and overall product quality.\nStay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in software testing, automation, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.\nQualifications & Skills:\nMust-have:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nBasic knowledge of software development principles and object-oriented programming.\nExperience with or strong academic knowledge of Java\nUnderstanding of software testing concepts, including functional, regression, integration, and API testing.\nFamiliarity with automated testing frameworks and tools.\nKnowledge of Git and version control practices.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood communication and collaboration abilities.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.\nEagerness to learn security automation technologies and QA best practices.\nNice-to-have:\nExperience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.\nExperience with Atlassian stack (Bitbucket, Jira, Bamboo, Confluence).\nInterest in AI/ML technologies and the integration of LLMs into operational workflows.\nWhy Bitdefender?\nAt Bitdefender, you’ll be part of a mission-driven company that is shaping the future of cybersecurity.
