For more information, visit www.bitgo.com.\nJob Description\nBitGo is looking for a Mobile Engineer E2 with a strong background in React Native to join our team and help us build cross-platform mobile applications that enhance the BitGo experience for our customers.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and build advanced applications for the iOS and Android platforms using React Native.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code while identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.\nEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.\nContinuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.\nWork closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand and refine product requirements.\nProvide mentorship to your peers in the broader engineering team through code reviews and education on best practices\nSkills & Experience: \nWe are looking for teammates who share and practice our values: open communication, transparency, taking ownership, and a high level of craftsmanship. We are looking for coworkers who share our vision and mission: deliver trust in digital assets. \nRequired:\n4+ years of proven experience in mobile application development using React Native.\nStrong knowledge of JavaScript and related technologies, including ES6 and TypeScript.\nFamiliarity with Swift/Objective-C and Kotlin/Java.\nSolid understanding of React and React Native architecture, navigation, state management, native modules, and OTA releases.\nExperience with secure storage, authentication, encryption, certificate and network security, biometrics, and secure handling of sensitive data.\nStrong understanding of UI/UX standards and mobile design principles.\nExperience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, along with a strong understanding of RESTful API design.\nStrong understanding of unit and functional testing, with proven debugging skills.\nExperience with Git/GitHub, branching methodologies, code review tools, CI tools, and related development practices.\nExperience building observability and monitoring capabilities, including crash reporting, analytics, profiling, and memory, battery, and network optimization.\nFamiliarity with App Store and Google Play deployment, release management, crash monitoring, and production debugging.\nAbility to support working hours aligned with EST/PST time zones, as required.\nPreferred:\nExperience with native mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus\nUnderstanding of and experience working in the financial industry\nFamiliarity with any of the following: digital wallets, clearing and settlement, lending, trading, accounting systems, etc\nWhy Join BitGo?\nDisrupting an industry takes vision, innovation, passion, technical chops, drive to deliver, collaboration, and execution.
