We are building a product our users love and we are just getting started!\nThe Role\nBitstack is a crypto-asset service provider (CASP) authorised under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will help oversee and manage the company's compliance framework, including regulatory monitoring, drafting and maintaining internal policies and procedures, liaising with authorities, and managing compliance risks.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n. Regulatory Monitoring\nMonitor regulatory developments applicable to crypto-asset service providers (CASPs), including MiCA, DORA and the Transfer of Funds Regulation (TFR - Travel Rule).\n\nAssess their impact on Bitstack's business and provide actionable recommendations.\n\nShare regulatory updates and summaries with relevant teams and senior management.\n\n2. Policies and Procedures\nDraft, update and coordinate the approval of compliance policies and procedures.\n\nEnsure that these remain consistent with applicable regulations and operational practices.\n\n3. TRACFIN Reporting Officer\nReview cases escalated by the AML/CFT analyst team and determine whether a suspicious transaction report (STR) should be filed.\n\nDraft and submit suspicious transaction reports via the ERMES platform, ensuring appropriate follow-up and record-keeping.\n\nRespond to requests from TRACFIN, including requests for information and additional documentation.\n\n4. Relations with Authorities and Official Requests\nHandle all requests from public authorities, including judicial requisitions and requests from tax authorities.\n\nEnsure compliance with applicable deadlines, maintain the confidentiality of communications and ensure that all responses are properly documented and traceable.\n\nImplement asset-freezing measures and submit the related declarations to the French Treasury Directorate (DG Trésor).\n\nPrepare and submit regulatory reports, including the ACPR's AML/CFT questionnaire, AMF regulatory reporting and the annual internal control report.\n\n5. Risk Management, Compliance Plan and Audits\nContribute to the development and regular updating of the AML/CFT risk classification and compliance risk assessment framework.\n\nMonitor corrective action plans raised by the Head of Internal Control.\n\nPrepare for internal and external audits, as well as regulatory inspections, and monitor the implementation of resulting recommendations.\n\n6. Cross-Functional Projects\nSupport the Tech and Product teams in launching new products, services and features by providing compliance input from the design stage.\n\nContribute to projects aimed at enhancing compliance tools, including KYC, screening, transaction monitoring and Travel Rule solutions.\n\nReview marketing communications and partnerships to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.\n\n7. Training and Awareness\nDesign and deliver regulatory training for employees, including the annual AML/CFT training programme.\n\nFoster a strong culture of compliance throughout the company.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nMaster's degree (Bac+5) in banking and financial law, compliance, finance or a related field.\n\nAt least 3 years of experience in compliance within a crypto-asset service provider (CASP), a payment institution, a credit institution, a fintech company or a consulting firm.\n\nStrong knowledge of the French and European AML/CFT regulatory framework; knowledge of MiCA is a significant advantage.\n\nProven experience in preparing and filing suspicious transaction reports.\n\nExperience liaising with supervisory and regulatory authorities, particularly the AMF, ACPR and TRACFIN.\n\nExcellent drafting and analytical skills, with the ability to summarise complex information clearly in both French and English.\n\nAbility to make complex regulatory topics accessible and understandable, and to collaborate effectively with technical and product teams.\n\nStrong attention to detail, discretion, autonomy, good prioritisation skills and a keen interest in the crypto ecosystem.\n\nA professional certification (AMF, CCSF, ACAMS or equivalent) is a plus.\n\nPerks & Benefits\nWork from our office in Paris (Bourse) or Remote\nFlexible working hours\nOne of the best health insurance plans with 100% employer contributions\nTeam activities and annual offsites\nSwile meal vouchers\nCompetitive salary based on experience & Bitstack stock options\nDiversity & Inclusion\nWe hire talented and passionate people from all kinds of backgrounds, we don’t care about your age or where you studied.
