You will design the tools that IT administrators, security teams, and managed service providers use to set up and manage Bitwarden for their organizations. This includes the Admin Console, the Provider Portal, member and access management, security policies, and the reports that help admins understand risk across their organization. You will work with product managers, engineers, and other designers, and you will use AI tools as a regular part of your process. We want someone who understands cybersecurity and wants to make complex admin work simpler.\nThis is a remote role. Candidates must be based in the U.S., and we prefer time zones that overlap with the U.S. East Coast. Please include a link to your portfolio when you apply.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign experiences for administrators of Teams and Enterprise organizations in the Admin Console, and for managed service providers (MSPs) in the Provider Portal\nImprove how admins set up their organization, invite and manage members, organize groups and collections, and control who can access what\nDesign policy and configuration settings, including single sign-on (SSO), user provisioning, and directory sync, so admins can set them up correctly the first time\nDesign reports and dashboards, including Access Intelligence, that help admins find weak, reused, or exposed credentials, prioritize risk, and prompt members to fix it\nDesign event logs and activity views that support audits and investigations\nMake large amounts of data easy to scan, filter, and act on\nCreate user flows, prototypes, and production-ready designs using the Bitwarden design system\nUse AI design tools to facilitate and scale research, ideation, rapid prototyping, and iteration\nCollaborate with our product teams to explore emerging product concepts, including agentic workflows\nHelp run interviews and usability tests with administrators, and review customer feedback to improve designs\nPresent work in design critiques and to product and engineering partners\nWHAT YOU BRING TO BITWARDEN\n2+ years of experience in product design or equivalent experience\nA portfolio that shows end-to-end design work on digital products\nStrong interaction design skills, including sketching, wireframing, and prototyping\nProficiency in Figma and experience working within a component-based design system\nExperience designing data-heavy interfaces such as tables, dashboards, reports, or settings pages\nExperience using AI tools in your design work, such as Claude, ChatGPT, V0, or Figma AI, and the ability to write effective prompts\nFront-end development experience or experience prototyping in code with AI tools\nInterest in designing AI features and an understanding of the usability and trust issues they can create\nAn understanding of and passion for cybersecurity, online privacy, and open source\nThe ability to turn complex requirements into clear, usable workflows\nStrong communication skills and a collaborative working style\nNICE-TO-HAVE\nExperience designing B2B or enterprise SaaS products, especially admin consoles\nExperience with data visualization and reporting design\nFamiliarity with identity and access management concepts such as SSO, SCIM, and role-based access control\nExperience designing for IT administrators, security teams, or managed service providers\nExperience designing cybersecurity, identity, or privacy products\nExperience designing AI-powered features\nFamiliarity with Angular component libraries and accessibility guidelines such as WCAG\nDESIGN AT BITWARDEN\nThe Product Design team at Bitwarden makes it simple for people of all skill levels to manage sensitive data.
