These features are a part of the Bitwarden browser extension, and they enable the extension to fill form fields with the user’s data and detect new logins to store in Bitwarden. We are looking for a Front-End Engineer to join a team that is responsible for maintaining and continually improving these parts of our product, ensuring that they grow to provide seamless integration with the latest web UI patterns across all browsers.\nThis is an all-remote team, and we are looking for someone based in North America.\nWe do not offer visa sponsorship at this time. \nRESPONSIBILITIES\nBecome an expert and authority on Bitwarden’s browser extension autofill and form change detection\nDevelop and maintain a full suite of browser UI automation tests\nContinually improve the autofill and form detection experience as new UI patterns emerge\nParticipate in code reviews, learning, and spreading technical knowledge\nOccasionally contribute bug fixes submitted by the user community\nWHAT YOU BRING TO BITWARDEN\nDeep understanding of browser UI behavior, including familiarity with DOM manipulation and content scripts\nProficiency in both vanilla JavaScript and with a modern framework like Angular (preferred), React, or Vue\nUnderstanding of browser extension development\nExcellent problem-solving skills - you might not know all the answers, but you know how to find and communicate the solution\nExperience with documenting complex technical solutions and conveying knowledge to other members of the Engineering team\nProficiency using source control such as Git, SVN, Subversion, TFS, etc.\nCollaborative and adaptable mindset\nOpenness and authenticity combined with excellent communication skills\nExcitement and enthusiasm for open source and for better internet security \nExcellent problem-solving skills - you might not know all the answers, but you know how to find and communicate the solution\nWHAT TO EXPECT IN THE INTERVIEW PROCESS\nSelected candidates will be invited to schedule an introduction call and potentially progress through the following stages:\nMeeting with our Recruiting Manager\nInterview with (hiring manager)\nInterview/s with team members\nReference calls\nA FEW REASONS TO WORK WITH US\nOur user community loves us and we love them.
