Join our Data & Analytics Team as a Data Engineer. You will design, build, and maintain our data architecture, implement scalable data pipelines, and ensure data quality and availability. You will also own our ETL processes, contribute to data models for analytics and AI/ML initiatives, and ensure data governance and compliance. This role offers remote work flexibility, health insurance, and equity in the company.
Missions
- Designing, building, and maintaining the data architecture to support business needs.
- Implementing scalable and cost-effective data pipelines and ETL flows for structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to ensure data quality, reliability, and availability.
Profil recherché
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred)- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL and MongoDB preferred)
- English proficiency (written and spoken, minimum B2 level)
- Ideally having a background in software engineering
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python and Spark
- Extensive knowledge of data architecture principles
- Demonstrated experience in data modelling and in implementing OLTP / OLAP systems
- Be familiar with CI/CD processes and IAC tools (Terraform preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- Previous experience in the travel industry or similar sectors
- Previous experience with data modelling in Qlik Cloud or other BI platforms
- Previous experience with data science and machine learning projects
