The net effect is to eliminate misinformation, achieve low coordination costs, enable high quality tasks and collaboration at scale with minimal or little prompting.\nAbout the Role\nThe Head of Design will own product design quality across the group's consumer products and brands. This is a hands-on design leadership role with direct involvement in our most important products and user experiences.\nWhat you will be doing\nSet the design direction and quality bar across group products.\n\nWork directly on or review critical user journeys, product concepts and interfaces.\n\nTurn complex financial and AI workflows into simple consumer experiences.\n\nSet standards across product design, interaction, visual design and design systems.\n\nReview shipped products and identify specific usability and design problems.\n\nWork with product and engineering from early concepts through production.\n\nRecruit and assess senior product, UI and brand designers.\n\nWhat you will need\nStrong portfolio of shipped consumer technology products with meaningful usage.\n\nDeep product and interaction design capability, not primarily people management.\n\nStrong visual judgement and attention to interface details.\n\nAbility to prototype and communicate product interactions directly.\n\nExperience working closely with product and engineering on shipped products.\n\nHands-on design style - able to create, critique and materially improve design work directly.\n\nPortfolio Submission (Mandatory)\nApplicants are required to submit a portfolio as part of their application.
