Today, it’s the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia.\nThe Role\nDoit is building its investment business from Vilnius. As Compliance Director and AML at Doit Lithuania, you will build and run our compliance and anti-money-laundering function from day one.\nYou will act as our Compliance Officer and AML Officer, and report directly to the management board. You will be independent of the business lines you monitor. You will run compliance and AML for a digital investment platform serving clients in Lithuania and across the European Economic Area.\nWhat You’ll Own\nWrite and own the compliance and AML/CTF policies and procedures.\n\nBuild the business-wide AML risk assessment, customer risk scoring and risk appetite.\n\nDesign remote onboarding controls with our KYC partners, including enhanced due diligence for PEPs and high-risk clients.\n\nDesign and tune transaction monitoring scenarios for brokerage activity.\n\nRun sanctions screening at onboarding, on an ongoing basis and on payments.\n\nFile suspicious activity reports with the FNTT and suspicious order reports under MAR.\n\nRun the compliance monitoring programme and report to the board.\n\nApprove marketing communications and oversee product governance, complaints and conflicts of interest.\n\nManage the regulatory relationship with the Bank of Lithuania on compliance and AML matters.\n\nPrepare the firm for the EU AML Regulation, which applies from July 2027.\n\nBuild the compliance and AML team as the business grows.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nSignificant experience in AML/CTF at a regulated EU financial institution. Ideally at an investment firm, neobroker, neobank or e-money institution.\n\nExperience with digital onboarding and remote identity verification at scale.\n\nHands-on experience building risk assessments, monitoring scenarios and EDD processes.\n\nExperience filing suspicious activity reports and handling regulatory inspections.\n\nKnowledge of MiFID II conduct and investment-services compliance, or the ability to learn it fast.\n\nExperience selecting and overseeing KYC, screening and monitoring tools.\n\nStrong judgment and the confidence to challenge senior colleagues.\n\nClear, concise writing for policies, board reports and regulators.\n\nA clean record and good reputation, suitable for regulatory approval as a key function holder.\n\nBased in Lithuania, or open to relocating to Lithuania.\n\nNice to Have\nLithuanian language ability.\n\nAn existing working relationship with the Bank of Lithuania or the FNTT.\n\nKnowledge of Lithuanian AML law and Bank of Lithuania instructions.\n\nExperience with clients across several EEA countries.\n\nCAMS (ACAMS) or ICA certification.\n\nThis Role Is Not For\nPeople who only want to attend meetings.\n\nCandidates who cannot follow up aggressively and professionally.\n\nPeople who copy policies from templates without fitting them to the business.\n\nPeople who say no without offering a compliant way forward.\n\nPeople who produce long updates without clear decisions or next actions.\n\nLocation\nThis role is based in Vilnius, Lithuania. This is a hybrid role. You are expected to work from our Vilnius office at least 3 days per week.\nYou must be a European citizen or already hold a valid right to work in Lithuania. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.\nLanguage\nEnglish is our main working language across global teams.
