Who cares about redefining how everyone around us can get the best financial applications, not for an exclusive few.\nIf you're this person, we'd love to talk to you.\nThe Role\nWe are looking for a Product Designer to shape intuitive, high-quality product experiences across BJAK's financial products.\nThis role is for someone who enjoys solving product problems through thoughtful interface design. You'll work closely with product managers and engineers to simplify complex financial workflows into experiences that feel fast, intuitive and trustworthy.\nWhat You'll Own\nDesign end-to-end product experiences from concept to production.\n\nTransform product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes and polished interfaces.\n\nDesign intuitive experiences across insurance, payments, claims, investments and other financial products.\n\nBuild and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.\n\nCollaborate closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.\n\nImprove usability through rapid iteration using product data and user feedback.\n\nMaintain consistency across mobile and web experiences.\n\nContinuously refine interactions, accessibility and overall product quality.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n3+ years of experience designing digital products.\n\nStrong portfolio demonstrating product thinking and excellent visual design.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Figma and interactive prototyping.\n\nStrong understanding of design systems, component libraries and responsive design.\n\nStrong understanding of information architecture and user flows.\n\nExcellent visual design skills including typography, spacing, layout and interaction design.\n\nAbility to simplify complex workflows into intuitive experiences.\n\nPortfolio is required.\n\nDesign Stack\nFigma\n\nFigJam\n\nDesign Systems\n\nInteractive Prototyping\n\nAuto Layout\n\nComponent Libraries\n\nThe Kind of Builder We Want\nThinks about solving customer problems, not just designing screens.\n\nBalances business goals with user experience.\n\nObsesses over clarity, simplicity and consistency.\n\nWorks collaboratively with engineers and product teams.\n\nTakes ownership from idea through launch.\n\nContinuously improves products using real user insights.\n\nThis Role Is Not For\nDesigners who only focus on visuals without considering usability.\n\nPeople who require fully detailed specifications before contributing.\n\nDesigners who struggle to explain design decisions.\n\nIndividuals who don't enjoy fast-moving startup environments.\n\nCandidates who exaggerate ownership or cannot explain what they personally designed.\n\nLocation\nThis role is based in Malaysia. This is a hybrid role. You are expected to work from our Malaysia office at least 3 days per week.\nLanguage\nEnglish is our primary working language across global teams.
