In AI applications, visual design must do more than look polished. It must help users understand dynamic content, system behavior, reliability signals, and complex AI-driven workflows.\nThis role supports HCI by making the interface clearer, more readable, and easier to trust.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nDesign the visual language, design system, and UI components for ActAI's product across web and mobile.\n\nCreate visual patterns that help users parse AI-generated content, distinguish system states, and understand confidence and reliability signals.\n\nDesign for information density and hierarchy in AI interfaces where content is dynamic, variable, and often uncertain.\n\nWork with product and UX designers to translate interaction flows into polished, accessible visual designs.\n\nBuild and maintain a design system that supports speed, consistency, and clarity.\n\nDefine visual standards for error states, empty states, loading states, task states, and AI-generated output.\n\nContribute visual assets and design specs that engineers can implement accurately.\n\nMake AI-heavy interfaces feel clear and structured without overwhelming users.\n\nWhat You Will Need\nExperience as a visual or UI designer with a portfolio across web or mobile products.\n\nStrong skills in typography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy.\n\nProficiency in Figma and experience building or contributing to design systems.\n\nAbility to design for dynamic content where AI output varies in length, format, tone, and reliability.\n\nUnderstanding of accessibility standards and how to design for legibility and contrast.\n\nComfort designing under ambiguity, with evolving product requirements.\n\nExperience working closely with product and UX designers in fast-moving teams.\n\nAwareness of how visual cues communicate AI system behavior, trust, and confidence.\n\nHow We Work\nThe best products today in the world were built by small, world class teams.
