This role combines payroll administration, labor compliance, and accounting support, offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the organization. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex payroll and compliance challenges, and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely results.\nResponsibilities\nAdministration of payroll process (using UKG/Ultipro) \nMaintain the employee information in Deltek Vision System \nAudit Timesheet for hours worked and accuracy \nReviews/ verifies payroll data, calculates overtime & other pay premiums \nManage payroll tax filings \nPrepare payroll journals for each pay period and provide monthly financial analysis as needed \nResponds to routine inquiries re payroll deductions/ accruals, wage garnishments, support payments in a timely manner. \nReconciles all payroll-related accounts and activities. \nAssist with all labor compliance filings and documents (i.e. certified payroll) \nAssists with the development and implementation of payroll practices, policies, and procedures. \nInteract with Human Resources for payroll related matters such as new hires, terminations, raises, and other change of status \nAssist in benefit plan audits and financial audits \nProvide impromptu analysis of payroll data \nRemains informed of Union prevailing wage/labor/ERISA regulations \nIn charge of all Union payroll related filings \nOversees maintenance of payroll records and files. \nRequirements\nAssociate’s degree plus 3 - 5 years Payroll production experience, or equiv. combination of education & experience \nCommitment to excellence, with high standards of confidentiality & ethics \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills \nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills \nAbility to manage priorities and workflow to meet stringent deadlines \nAbility to meet constantly changing priorities & deadlines, while maintaining poise & enthusiasm \nAbility to perceive the larger scope of a task, while not losing focus on details \nProficient on Deltek Vision and UKG/UltiPro Payroll softwares and strong knowledge in Excel \nExperience with processing Union Payroll \nStrong interpersonal skills; able to deal effectively with individuals at all organizational levels. \nStrong understanding of payroll / labor regulations \nDemonstrated ability to calculate overtime, commissions, percentages & other basic mathematical functions \nPhysical Demands: Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 20 pounds with accommodations.\nWork Conditions: Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Travel to other BKF locations and client sites may be required.\nBenefits\nThe typical base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $96,439.00, annualized depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
