Ensure activities are achieved that meet corporate customer satisfaction objectives as well as internal and external SLAs.\nSummary:\nThe Cable Infrastructure Manager (RCDD) will manage the day-to-day work activities of post-sale installation, delivery, deployment and ongoing support functions for the field service organization for an assigned customer site inclusive of the people, process, systems and measures.\nEnsure installation, delivery and deployment services are delivered to the assigned customer in a consistent, high quality and professional manner using structured and disciplined practices to ensure stable post-sale services are consistent with company initiatives and expectations.\nEnsure activities are achieved that meet corporate customer satisfaction objectives as well as internal and external SLAs.\nResponsible for circuit designs and special projects involving department, subcontractors or cross functional teams focused on the delivery of a product or computer-based system through the design process and into a finished state for its tenants.\nResponsibilities and Essential Duties:\nPlans and directs schedules for employees\nMonitors the staff responsible for the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical matters, project schedules, budget constraints, and provides technical support and direction.\nCoordinate efforts of lower-level staff.\nInterface with IT Service Desk for infrastructure related issues.\nFollow all policies and procedures as defined.\nMinimum Competencies, Experience, and Skills:\nA Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification is required.\n7 years of telecommunications industry experience.\n5 years of experience managing projects and people.\nSolid understanding of BICSI cabling standards.\nSolid understanding of cable trays, raceways, patch panels, cable management, fiber optics, and connectors.\nBackground in telecommunications and fiber optic installation is essential.\nExperienced telephone and data network system environments and be familiar with the design and implementation of:\nOutside plant design including applicable LEC practices.\nInside plant including telephone rooms and closets, riser systems, MDFs, IDFs, and backboards according to Miami-Dade County specifications.\nPower plants, including UPS and battery banks.\nFloor plans, including equipment layout for the installation of telephone systems and computer floors.\nEnvironmental requirements.\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:\nAccountability - Demonstrates an understanding of the link between one’s own job responsibilities and overall organizational goals and needs and performs one’s job with the broader goals in mind.
