In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of our safety culture, using your expertise to prevent incidents, train teams, and help shape a workplace where everyone goes home safely.\nIf you’re a hands-on safety professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys making a meaningful impact every day, this is the opportunity for you.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead Safety in the Field\nImplement and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and all local, state, and federal regulations.\nApply and manage Black Box’s Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) and the Black Box Buddy Policy.\nConduct detailed site inspections to identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and verify implementation.\nBe the Go-To Safety Resource for the Team\nDeliver engaging orientation and safety training programs, including Emergency Response Plan activation and drills.\nSupport team members, supervisors, and subcontractors with safety coaching and real-time guidance.\nPrepare safety exhibits, presentations, and materials for internal and external events.\nDrive Accountability Through Strong Documentation\nMaintain accurate safety records including audits, inspections, PTPs, SPAs, MSDS, and more.\nComplete and submit Site Incident Prevention Plans (SIPPs) per project and customer requirements.\nLead investigations of injuries and incidents, prepare reports, and support claims or legal processes when needed.\nMake an Impact in a Fast-Paced Environment\nAdapt to changing project needs and support extended or weekend hours when required.\nServe as a visible safety presence on job sites-including construction environments-working closely with project teams.\nWhat Makes You Successful Here\nStrong knowledge of OSHA and relevant safety regulations.\nExcellent communication skills-clear, confident, and approachable.\nAbility to develop and deliver high-quality safety training.\nExceptional organization, follow-through, and prioritization skills.\nProficient with MS Word, Excel, and digital documentation systems.\nA collaborative, proactive mindset with a passion for protecting people.\nRequired Certifications\nMust be certified to teach OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 courses.\nWork Environment\nYou will spend time in active construction areas and must be comfortable navigating project sites.\nWhy Black Box?\nBlack Box is a leading global technology solutions provider with 2,500+ team members across 24 countries.
