This role gives you the chance to build real technical skills, support major customers, and be part of a high-performance team committed to safety, quality, and continuous learning.\nIf you’re reliable, motivated, and excited to work in an environment where no two days look the same, this is the perfect opportunity to grow.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDeliver High-quality Data Center Infrastructure\nInstall, maintain, service, and decommission structured cabling systems including copper, fiber, and other low voltage technologies.\n\nBuild and remove racks, cabinets, cable trays, and pathway systems inside active data center environments.\n\nInterpret and follow design drawings, specifications, and manufacturer standards to ensure precise and compliant installations.\n\nChampion Safety & Quality\nFollow all Company and customer safety policies to maintain an Accident-Free Everyday environment.\n\nMaintain an organized, hazard free workspace while upholding industry best practices in quality and craftsmanship.\n\nComply with all customer site rules related to security, access, quality, and safety.\n\nGrow Technical Skills in a Fast-moving Environment\nAssist and learn from senior technicians in structured cabling installation, testing, and commissioning.\n\nGain hands-on experience with fiber systems, labeling standards, routing, and testing tools.\n\nDevelop strong organizational habits with materials, tools, and cable management for best practices.\n\nBe a Dependable & Positive Team Contributor\nWork effectively in changing environments with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.\n\nSupport varied schedules including days, nights, or weekends as required.\n\nRepresent Black Box with professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication.\n\n What Helps You Succeed\nAbility to listen carefully and follow instructions.\n\nSolid teamwork skills with the willingness to learn and help others.\n\nKnowledge of safe hand tool use (telecom and construction tools).\n\nAbility to distinguish color for cable identification.\n\nDependable, punctual, and self-motivated with strong attention to detail.\n\nClear communication skills and fluency in English.\n\nReliable transportation and willingness to adapt to shifting project needs.\n\nWhat You Bring\nHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.\n\n2-3 years of telecom/structured cabling experience (data center experience preferred).\n\nOSHA10 preferred (must obtain within 90 days).\n\nCPR/First Aid certification within 90 days.\n\nFOA or BICSI certifications are a strong plus.\n\nWork Environment & Physical Demands\nThis role is highly hands-on and physically active.\nYou will work primarily indoors in data centers but may occasionally support tasks outdoors. The environment is generally moderate in noise but may include active construction areas at times.\nTo perform effectively, you must be able to:\nStand and walk frequently throughout the day.\n\nSit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, and use your hands regularly.\n\nLift and move up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 25 lbs frequently.\n\nWork in tight or confined spaces when required.\n\nWork from heights, including ladders or lifts, with proper safety equipment.\n\nCommunicate clearly with team members and hear instructions in active environments.\n\nThese physical requirements are representative of essential job functions.
