This is a senior level, hands-on role where your expertise in structured cabling, fiber optics, and ICT systems sets the standard for the entire team.\nIf you're a highly skilled technician who thrives on solving complex challenges, mentoring others, and delivering excellence in high stakes environments like data centers, enterprises, and advanced facilities-this is where your experience becomes impact.\nPosition Details:\nHourly position based upon experience & skill level\n\nContract with possible contract extension or hire\n\nStandard Work Schedule: up to 6 days a week days and evening shifts available (all shifts are subject to change upon business demands)\n\nLocation: Customer Site - Abilene, TX\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead Advanced Structured Cabling & ICT Infrastructure Work\nInstall, service, upgrade, and decommission complex structured cabling systems, including Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A, fiber optic systems, and low voltage technologies.\n\nExecute high skill work such as fusion splicing high strand ribbon fiber, terminating and testing copper and fiber, and performing advanced troubleshooting.\n\nInstall and remove infrastructure components including racks, cable trays, cabinets, pathways, and network devices.\n\nBe the Subject Matter Expert Onsite\nApply deep knowledge of TIA/BICSI standards, building codes, and life safety requirements.\n\nConduct Fluke DSX8000 testing, OTDR testing, inspection, documentation, and remediation.\n\nInstall servers, rack and stack equipment, patch panels, bonding, firestopping, and cable channeling.\n\nTroubleshoot and support network devices;
