The RE shall ensure maximum system uptime, adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and seamless support during meetings, conferences, and critical events.\nKey Responsibilities\nAV & Video Conferencing Support\nOperate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain all AV and Video Conferencing systems. \nProvide real-time technical support during meetings, conferences, presentations, and official events. \nConfigure and troubleshoot VC endpoints, cameras, microphones, DSPs, displays, LED walls, projectors, and control systems. \nEnsure readiness of conference rooms before scheduled meetings. \nSystem Maintenance\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance of all AV and VC equipment. \nMonitor overall health and performance of installed systems. \nDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, and integration issues. \nCoordinate with OEMs and service partners for escalations and warranty support. \nNetwork & IT Support\nSupport network connectivity related to AV and VC solutions. \nAssist in basic network management, IP configuration, VLAN connectivity, and device communication. \nSupport IT security practices applicable to AV and VC infrastructure. \nEnsure firmware and software updates are applied as approved. \nIncident Management\nAttend all complaints within defined SLA timelines. \nRecord, track, and close incidents through the prescribed ticketing mechanism. \nEscalate unresolved issues appropriately. \nMaintain complaint history and resolution records. \nDocumentation\nMaintain preventive maintenance records. \nMaintain inventory of installed equipment. \nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports. \nMaintain asset movement and service logs. \nUpdate network diagrams and system documentation whenever required. \nCoordination\nCoordinate with NICL officials, OEMs, and implementation teams. \nAssist during system upgrades, expansions, relocations, and testing activities. \nSupport acceptance testing and performance verification. \nEducational Qualification\nBachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in: Electronics & Communication Engineering \nElectrical Engineering \nComputer Science \nInformation Technology \nElectronics & Instrumentation \nor Equivalent discipline \n\nExperience\nMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in: Audio Visual (AV) Solutions \nVideo Conferencing Systems \nNetwork Management \nIT Security Management \n\nMandatory Certifications\nRelevant AVIXA Certification (CTS/CTS-I/CTS-D) or \nEquivalent OEM Certification on the proposed AV/VC solution. \nTechnical Skills\nThe engineer should have hands-on knowledge of:\nProfessional Audio-Visual Systems \nVideo Conferencing Platforms \nDSP Programming & Configuration \nAudio Mixing Systems \nWireless & Wired Microphones \nPTZ Cameras \nLED Displays and Video Walls \nProjectors and Display Systems \nAV Control Systems \nMatrix Switchers \nSignal Distribution Systems \nIP Networking \nTCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP \nWindows Operating System \nBasic Linux Administration (desirable) \nNetwork Monitoring Tools \nIT Security Best Practices \nPreventive Maintenance Procedures \nIncident & SLA Management \nSoft Skills\nExcellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. \nGood verbal and written communication. \nCustomer-oriented approach. \nAbility to work under pressure during critical meetings. \nGood documentation skills. \nTeam coordination and stakeholder management. \nEmployment Conditions\nThe RE shall be a direct employee of the successful bidder and not employed through any franchisee or subcontractor. \nThe engineer must possess a valid company-issued Identity Card. \nDeployment is subject to successful interview and approval by NICL officials. \nNICL reserves the right to seek replacement of the engineer if performance is found unsatisfactory. \nFrequent rotation of the RE shall not be permitted.
