This is a hands-on role requiring ownership of critical production issues in a 24/7 environment. \nKey Responsibilities \nOwn and manage Critical and High production incidents end-to-end. \nParticipate in SWARM / Tech Bridge calls and lead incidents during assigned shifts. \nImprove MTTR, MTTA, alert quality, and operational stability. \nPerform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive corrective actions. \nMonitor production systems and proactively detect issues. \nAutomate operational tasks using Go, Python, Shell, or Perl. \nMaintain dashboards, alerts, runbooks, and SOPs. \nHandle customer-facing communications during incidents. \nCoordinate with Engineering, Product, CloudOps, and Support teams. \nGuide junior engineers and support shift handovers. \nLead automation initiatives to reduce toil and manual intervention. \nWrite and review operational automation using Go / Python / Shell / Perl. \nAct as a technical reviewer for reliability-critical changes. \nInfluence architecture decisions with operability and reliability in mind. \nOwn and standardize runbooks, SOPs, and disaster recovery processes. \nLeadership & Mentorship \nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to ProdOps engineers. \nGuide shift teams during complex situations. \nSupport onboarding, training, and upskilling of team members. \nDrive operational maturity across the team. \nTech Stack & Expertise \nRequired Technologies \nContainers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm \nCloud Platforms: AWS / GCP / Azure \nInfrastructure as Code: Terraform \nCI/CD: Jenkins, Harness, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, GitLab CI \nMonitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, New Relic, Loki \nVersion Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab \nScripting: Go or Python or Shell or Perl \nQualifications \n6+ years of experience in Production Operations, SRE, or Cloud Reliability roles. \nProven experience leading major production incidents in customer-facing systems. \nStrong background in distributed systems, Kubernetes, and cloud environments. \nExperience mentoring engineers and driving reliability initiatives. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \nWhat We Offer \nAn opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative team. \nInclusive and collaborative work environment. \nContinuous learning and professional development opportunities. \nExposure to large-scale and customer-critical systems. \nBlack Duck is an equal opportunity employer.
