The role works with other IT teams to help maintain the availability, performance, and security of corporate IT systems and services; participates in migrations, upgrades, integrations, and deployments; and provides technical and operational support to team members and stakeholders.\nEssential Functions/Responsibilities\nSupport the implementation, maintenance, and operation of infrastructure platforms including physical servers, virtualization, storage, backup, and cloud-hosted services.\nAssist with lifecycle management activities for server hardware and infrastructure platforms, including deployment, upgrades, patching, capacity planning, and decommissioning activities.\nSupport and maintain virtualization platforms including VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V, OpenStack, KVM, or equivalent technologies.\nSupport enterprise storage solutions including SAN, NAS, replication, and capacity management activities.\nSupport backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to help meet business continuity and data protection objectives.\nMaintain and support Windows and Linux server environments, including patching, system maintenance, automation, and operational support.\nMonitor infrastructure performance, capacity, availability, and reliability and escalate issues as appropriate.\nSupport and maintain automation and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, or similar tools.\nParticipate in infrastructure projects including platform deployments, migrations, upgrades, and cloud initiatives.\nCollaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams and contribute to technical documentation and operational procedures.\nParticipate in a rotating on-call schedule to support critical infrastructure operations outside of business hours.\nOther tasks and activities as assigned\nRequired Education/Experience & Skills\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.\n2-4 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, systems engineering, platform engineering, or systems administration within complex IT environments.\nStrong experience administering enterprise Windows Server and Linux operating systems.\nHands-on experience with enterprise virtualization technologies including VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V, OpenStack, KVM, or equivalent platforms.\nExperience managing enterprise server hardware and data center infrastructure platforms.\nKnowledge of enterprise storage technologies including SAN, NAS, replication, capacity planning, and performance optimization.\nExperience implementing and administering backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.\nExperience with cloud infrastructure platforms and services including AWS and Microsoft Azure.\nExperience with automation, scripting, and Infrastructure-as-Code using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and successfully deliver infrastructure projects in a collaborative team environment.\nPhysical Requirements\nGeneral office environment and responsibilities requiring:\nExtensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday\nPlacing and receiving phone calls\nOccasionally moving and lifting objects up to 50 pounds\nMay require up to 10% travel as needed\nPay Range\n$76,300—$114,500 USD\nBlack Duck is an equal opportunity employer.
