Utilizing the training provided through Black & McDonald’s proven proactive sales strategy.\nYou will thrive in the role if\nYou can research the proper prospects whose facility needs can be met through Black & McDonald’s service offerings. With a hunter mentality, you are not afraid to “pick up the phone” and make it happen.\nYou have high level time management skills and enjoy a great sense of autonomy. Business or marketing preferable. \nWORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\n1-3 years’ experience with demonstrable success in a Business Development role, involving financial sales negotiations, with a good insight into the needs, motives and emotions of the client or prospect.\nExperience in the following trades:Fire, life safety and sprinkler services\nHeating, ventilation, and air conditioning\nElectrical\nPlumbing \n\nSKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS\nSelf-motivated and results-oriented \nStrong work ethic \nCompetitive and goal-driven \nMathematical aptitude \nFinancial literacy \nWillingness and ability to travel \nValid driver's license and reliable transportation\nThe expected salary range for this role is between $58,000 and $70,000, plus commission and a company vehicle. The starting salary will be based on several factors such as the successful candidate’s qualifications, including but not limited to education and experience.
