In this role, you will design, develop, and support scalable APIs and integrations using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform, helping ensure seamless communication between cloud and on-premises applications while maintaining enterprise standards for reliability, security, and performance.\nThe ideal candidate brings strong MuleSoft expertise, deep integration experience, and a passion for building scalable, reusable solutions that enable business growth and operational efficiency.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign and implement API-led connectivity solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.\nDevelop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable APIs and integrations connecting Salesforce, Workday, and other enterprise applications.\nDesign and implement secure, scalable, and reusable integration solutions that align with enterprise standards, security, and governance practices.\nBuild, test, deploy, and support MuleSoft applications using modern engineering practices, including automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimise integration performance while ensuring reliable operation in production environments.\nCollaborate with stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.\nContribute to continuous improvement through automation, modern integration practices, and AI-assisted engineering capabilities.\nParticipate in operational support and on-call activities as required.\nWhat You'll Bring\n6-8+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development using Mule 4.x and Anypoint Platform.\nStrong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, DataWeave 2.0, API-led architecture, and REST/SOAP integrations.\nKnowledge of API security, governance, CI/CD practices, and deployments to CloudHub and/or Runtime Fabric.\nProficiency in Java fundamentals, SQL, JSON/XML, and object-oriented programming concepts.\nExperience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, JMS, or Anypoint MQ.\nStrong troubleshooting, performance optimisation, production support, and problem-solving skills.\nExposure to AI-assisted engineering tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or emerging MuleSoft AI capabilities is a plus.\nMuleSoft certification(s) are a plus.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.\nStay up to date on everything Blackbaud, follow us on Linkedin, X, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube \nBlackbaud powers social impact through purpose-driven technology and responsible AI.
