Reporting to the Senior Manager ofRevenue, Payments & Technical Accounting, this role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about process improvement, automation, and technical excellence.This role focuses on Blackbaud’s FinTech business and includes boththe accountingfor high volume transactions and technical review of partner,customerand supplier arrangements forappropriate accountingtreatment.\nWhat you'll do:\nLead and execute monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses, financial reporting deliverables, and analytical reviews.\n\nPerform daily and monthly platform to processor reconciliations and analysis for Blackbaud’s variousPaymentssolutions.\n\nPerform and document SOX controls related to accounting and reporting processes, including designing new processes and controls to support business or systems changes.\n\nCollaborate with external and internal auditors to ensure compliance with quarterly and annual audit requirements.\n\nDevelop, review, and update standard operating procedures for accounting processes and tasks.\n\nPartner with cross-functional teams-including product, finance, and engineering-to streamline accounting workflowsand implementor supportautomation.\n\nPartner with cross functional teams to review newgo tomarket offers and new arrangements with partners, customers, and suppliers forappropriate accountingtreatment. Propose accounting operations to support those arrangements as needed.\n\nResearch and prepare technical accounting analyses, with a focus on US GAAP and ASC 606 compliance.\n\nWhat you'll bring:\n5+ years of relevant public accounting and/or industry experience; Big 4 audit experience preferred.\n\nUndergraduatedegree inAccounting.\n\nPayments or technology industry experience preferred.\n\nFluency in US GAAP and ability to research complex accounting issues, especially ASC 606.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated drive for excellence.\n\nExcellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a proventrack recordof effective collaboration in team and matrixed environments.\n\nStrong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work across multiple teams and stakeholders.\n\nAbility to work independently and excel in a fast-paced environment.\n\nAdvancedproficiencyin Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experiencewith Workday, Blackline, Hyperion, Stripe,Alteryxand large data sets is highly desirable.\n\nStay up to date on everything Blackbaud, follow us on Linkedin, X, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube\nBlackbaud is a digital-first company which embraces a flexible remote or hybrid work culture.
