Working closely with product, commercial and delivery teams, you will help shape and deliver solutions that generate customer value, unlock new opportunities and support some of the world's leading charities. This role forms part of a highly experienced, customer-focused team within a growing local business backed by a NASDAQ-listed company.\nWhat you'll be doing\nDesign, build and support custom websites, bespoke applications and APIs that extend and enhance our core platform capabilities \nIdentify and validate new product and service opportunities through rapid experimentation, prototyping and iterative delivery \nLeverage AI-assisted development tools and agentic coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle, from concept through to production \nPartner with Product, Commercial and Delivery teams to deliver regional and global initiatives, campaigns and customer solutions \nSupport pre-sales activities by contributing technical expertise, effort estimation and solution design recommendations \nProvide technical leadership across application design and architecture, driving scalable, maintainable solutions while promoting engineering best practices \nTake ownership of the full software lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, production support, security and operational excellence \nMentor and support engineers through coaching, code reviews, technical guidance and knowledge sharing \nWhat you need to bring\n5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Express and JavaScript (ES6) \nStrong understanding of HTML5, CSS and modern web development principles \nMust meet all minimum requirements for quality, security and operability \nExperience designing, building and integrating with public APIs and third-party services \nExperience working within agile software delivery teams and a commitment to continuous improvement \nExperience using modern AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude or equivalent technologies to accelerate software delivery \nAdditional skills which would be useful\nExperience with deployment tooling, CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices \nExposure to AWS and serverless application architectures \nExperience delivering customer-facing projects and working directly with stakeholders \nUnderstanding of modern UX, design and accessibility principles \nExperience working with data, analytics and CRM platforms \nExperience collaborating within distributed engineering teams \nExperience in .Net technologies (C#.net) \nMore about you\nPassionate about creating outstanding customer outcomes through technology \nCommercially aware and motivated to improve products, services and ways of working \nComfortable navigating both technical and business conversations \nEnjoy collaborating with people from different disciplines, backgrounds and levels of experience \nStrong communicator who understands that building alignment is just as important as writing great software \nCurious, pragmatic and continually looking for better ways to solve problems \nStay up to date on everything Blackbaud, follow us on Linkedin, X, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube \nBlackbaud powers social impact through purpose-driven technology and responsible AI.
