This role is responsible for Discovery, CMDB data quality, and Service Mapping across hybrid on-prem and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).\nWhat you'll do\nDesign, implement, and operate ServiceNow IT operations management capabilities with a focus on discovery, configuration data quality, and service mapping across on-premises and cloud environments.\n\nBuild and maintain reliable discovery architecture by managing mid-server design, credential handling, network zoning, performance tuning, and monitoring.\n\nImprove trust in configuration data by applying identification and reconciliation best practices, enforcing data quality standards, and aligning configuration and service models to common service data structures.\n\nCreate, validate, and optimise service maps that accurately represent application and infrastructure dependencies and support operational decision-making.\n\nIntegrate cloud platforms into ServiceNow by ensuring cloud resources are modelled, normalised, and governed according to ownership, environment, and cost standards.\n\nDevelop automation and integrations that reduce manual effort and improve platform reliability using workflows, scripting, and application programming interfaces.\n\nWhat you'll bring\n5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow engineering experience with a strong focus on ITOM.\n\nProven experience with Discovery, CMDB, and MID Server deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.\n\nHands-on cloud engineering experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP), including Understanding of cloud resource models (accounts/subscriptions, regions, VMs, load balancers, managed services, ephemerals, auto-scaling) Azure policy configuration & reporting\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, cloud, network connectivity, credentials, and data quality issues.\n\nExperience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), including Business Rules, Script Includes, and Scheduled Jobs.\n\nService Mapping experience, including pattern-based methodologies and dependency validation.\n\nIRE knowledge (identification rules, reconciliation behavior, duplicate prevention/troubleshooting).\n\nIntegration experience with Integration Hub (OOB/custom spokes), scripted REST, and OAuth flows.\n\nAbility to work across platform, cloud, and infrastructure teams to model services accurately and improve operational visibility.\n\nStay up to date on everything Blackbaud, follow us on Linkedin, X, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube \nBlackbaud powers social impact through purpose-driven technology and responsible AI.
