The candidate set architecture standards, keep the platform scalable and secure, and maintain a good Org health score.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nWhat You’ll Do\nPlatform ownership\nDefine and maintain the Salesforce architecture, data model, and integration patterns across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud\nApply Salesforce best practices and design within platform limits, and track new releases and features for adoption\nSupport the leadership team with build-vs-buy and declarative-vs-code decisions.\nLead technical reviews and ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure\nManage technical debt, org health, and platform limits\nHands-on development\nBuild and review Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and integrations\nDesign and implement APIs and integration between Salesforce and other applications.\nDesign and deliver Agentforce use cases\nTroubleshoot complex production issues and performance bottlenecks\nTeam leadership\nLead, mentor, and grow a team of 5-10 consisting of admin and developers and take the responsibility of reporting manager ( people manager)\nSet coding standards, code review practices, and testing expectations\nDrive adoption of AI tools (such as Claude) to improve developer productivity, with guidelines for responsible use\nPrioritize and plan work with product owners and business stakeholders\nGovernance and delivery\nOwn the CI/CD pipeline and release management: sandbox strategy, version control, deployment, and change management\nEstablish data governance, security model, and access control practices\nManage Salesforce release cycles and assess the impact of seasonal upgrades\nPartner with Sales, Service, and Operations leaders to translate goals into a platform roadmap\nWhat You’ll Bring\nRequired\n15 years of IT experience, with at least 12 years in the Salesforce ecosystem as a developer, architect, and team lead, including end-to-end implementations and platform governance. Prior experience as Salesforce platform lead and managing the production environment and sandboxes.\nExpert-level knowledge of Salesforce best practices, platform limitations, and the latest features\nExpert-level knowledge Apex, Visualforce, APIs (REST/SOAP/Tooling/Metadata/Bulk/etc), approval processes, flows, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), web services, SOQL, SOSL, Analytics\nHands-on experience with Agentforce and Data Cloud.\nExperience with CI/CD processes, tools and release management\nExperience using AI tools such as Claude to improve developer productivity\nExcellent analytical skills, communication, and stakeholder management\nProven experience leading and mentoring a technical team\nPreferred (added advantage)\nExperience with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, PSO\nExperience with Salesforce Voice and CTI integrations\nSalesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, Platform Developer II, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant\nFamiliarity with SAFe, Agile delivery.\nStay up to date on everything Blackbaud, follow us on Linkedin, X, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube \nBlackbaud powers social impact through purpose-driven technology and responsible AI.
