This role requires a seasoned technology leader with deep expertise in enterprise software development, geospatial technologies, government-grade security, and large-scale engineering team leadership.\nWhat You'll Do\n - Define and execute the technical vision and architecture roadmap for BlackBerry AtHoc's mass notification platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and resilience for government, defense, and enterprise customers.\n- Lead and mentor globally distributed engineering teams, including onsite and offshore resources, while driving accountability for delivery, quality, and operational excellence.\n- Architect and deliver high-volume geospatial and mapping capabilities, including integrations with third-party mapping platforms and location-based services.\n- Champion innovation by evaluating emerging technologies, developing prototypes, and translating customer and market requirements into differentiated product capabilities.\n- Ensure products meet stringent security, compliance, and accreditation requirements, including FedRAMP and other regulatory standards critical to public sector customers.\n- Drive engineering excellence across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through deployment and sustaining engineering.\nWhat You Bring\n- Extensive, proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale enterprise software platforms, with significant experience leading the technical direction of mission-critical SaaS applications.\n- Deep expertise in geospatial technologies and location-based services, including GIS data, mapping platforms, and third-party mapping integrations that support situational awareness and emergency response capabilities.\n- Proven leadership of global engineering teams, with experience setting technical direction, mentoring senior engineers, and delivering complex software releases across distributed organizations.\n- Strong background in secure software development and regulatory compliance, including experience supporting government, defense, or other highly regulated environments with requirements such as FedRAMP.\nNice to Have\n- Experience with mass notification, critical event management, emergency communications, or public safety solutions.\n- Experience supporting U.S. Federal, Defense, Homeland Security, or emergency management customers.\n- Expertise in real-time communication systems, large-scale notification delivery, or location-aware alerting technologies.\n- Patents, invention disclosures, or a demonstrated track record of technical innovation and product advancement.\nScheduled Weekly Hours:\n40Compensation Hiring Base Pay Range:\n$210,600 - 283,500\nPlease be advised that the compensation hiring range indicated herein is provided solely as a good-faith estimate of anticipated base compensation for the position.
