You’ll tackle challenging engineering problems that require you to get close to both the hardware and software, while contributing to technology that can enable sophisticated systems across automotive, robotics and medical applications.\nIf you’re a senior embedded developer who enjoys solving the hard problems, influencing technical direction and building robust software for complex real-world systems, we’d love to hear from you.\nWhat you’ll do\nAs a senior member of the team, you’ll contribute to the design and evolution of the Sensor Framework, tackling complex integration challenges and helping deliver scalable, high-performance solutions across new sensors and hardware platforms.\nYou will:\nDesign, develop and maintain high-performance embedded software in C and C++\nLead complex integrations for new sensors including cameras, LiDAR, radar and GPS/IMU\nEnable and integrate new Image Signal Processors (ISPs) and serializer/deserializer (SerDes) technologies\nDrive the porting and adaptation of the framework to new hardware platforms and SoCs\nDesign and evolve framework APIs, architecture and features with performance, scalability and robustness in mind\nInvestigate complex system-level issues, perform root-cause analysis and drive problems through to resolution\nDevelop and enhance sample applications and reference implementations\nApply strong software engineering practices including static analysis and unit testing\nCollaborate closely with hardware vendors and internal engineering teams to solve integration challenges\nShare technical expertise and contribute to engineering discussions, design decisions and overall software quality\nWhat you’ll bring\nYou’ll have deep embedded software expertise and be comfortable moving between application-level requirements and the low-level behaviour of the underlying system.\nWe're looking for:\nStrong expertise in embedded software development\nAdvanced programming skills in C and C++\nDeep understanding of low-level systems programming, including memory management, interrupts, DMA and concurrency\nHands-on experience with device driver development\nStrong understanding of hardware/software interactions and system-level debugging\nExperience with static analysis and unit test development\nThe ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across multiple layers of the software stack\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working across engineering disciplines and with external technology partners\nGreat to have\nAdditional experience in any of these areas would be valuable:\nQNX, Linux or Android based systems\nComputer vision, image processing or graphics pipelines\nSafety-critical software and standards such as ISO 26262\nVirtualization and hypervisor-based environments\nSensor integration, camera systems or related embedded technologies\nReady for your next embedded engineering challenge?
