Preference will be given to those who have prior to similar experience working within campsite environments or rotational schedules.\nWhat’s in for you?\n7 Days ON 7 Days Off Rotational schedule\n\nFree Bus Service provided from Saskatoon to site.\n\nCamp-work- meals and accomodations provided.\n\nCompetitive wages\n\nPaid training and growth opportunities to succeed in your role\n\nCareer advancement opportunities through promotion from within\n\nWhat you will do\nProvide security awareness guidance while promoting a positive security culture for residents and operations.\n\nEnsuring the safety and security of residents, contractor personnel, visitors, facilities and property within the area\n\nEstablish a strong security presence to deter crime and theft by conducting mobile or foot patrols and monitoring surveillance systems.\n\nDocumenting and reporting any violations\n\nIntervening to provide support during emergencies, employee assistance, and site policy support.\n\nPatrol the premises, provide access control and respond to emergency situations in an appropriate and timely manner\n\nPerform safety and security duties with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, including security searches of vehicles, rooms, and bags.\n\nComplete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents\n\nIdentify potential security risks and respond accordingly, including escalating to appropriate channels\n\nManage and maintain areas when incidents occur to ensure preservation of evidence and integrity of investigations.\n\nRespond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement agencies as required\n\nUse and maintain any equipment that you may utilize while performing your duties\n\nProviding support as required when security issues arise and when requested.\n\nFrequent foot patrols\n\nThe Ideal Candidate\nNeed to have Security License\n\nNeed to have Driving License\n\nFirst Aid, CPR is an asset\n\nPrevious Camp work is an asset\n\nPrevious security experience in a mine or remote work site is highly preferred\n\nStrong communication skills with a radio, a phone and both written and spoken English\n\nStrict Drug and Alcohol Policy adherence.\n\nAble to work in all weather conditions.\n\nAbout Blackbird Security\nJoining Canada’s fastest-growing National Security Company is not just a job - it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in your career and in the communities we serve.
